    SAPA 2025 Saltwater Slam

    September 26th-27th, 2025

    Robert's Point - Main Pavillion

301 J.C. Barr Blvd. Port Aransas, Texas

Get ready for an unforgettable day on the water at the SAPA 2024 Saltwater Slam! Held along the stunning Texas Gulf Coast in Port Aransas, this fishing tournament is the perfect blend of competition, relaxation, and networking with fellow pipeline and midstream professionals.

This year, we’re adding a fun twist — the tournament is themed “Boats & PO’s,” inspired by the movie Step Brothers! Come dressed as your favorite character for the Registration & Catalina Captains Mixer on Friday, where we'll host a costume contest with a prize for First Place. Everyone who arrives in costume will also be entered into a general raffle — so get creative and bring the laughs!

Not only will you enjoy reeling in the big catch and showing off your best Step Brothers look, but you’ll also be making a meaningful impact. Proceeds from the Saltwater Slam support the Midstream America Scholarship Fund (MASF), providing scholarships to students pursuing degrees in math, science, and engineering—building the foundation for the future of our industry.

    Event Highlights:

Prime Fishing in Port Aransas: Experience the thrill of fishing in one of Texas’s most beautiful coastal locations.

Competitive Fun: Test your skills and aim for tournament prizes, including top angler and team awards.

Networking on the Gulf: Build lasting relationships with industry colleagues in a laid-back, picturesque setting.

Step Brothers-Themed Costume Contest: Join the “Boats & PO’s” fun at the Friday Catalina Captains Mixer—costumes encouraged!

Support a Worthy Cause: Every registration helps fund scholarships that empower the next generation of midstream leaders.

Whether you’re a seasoned angler or new to the sport, this event is a great way to relax, connect, and give back. Gather your team, gear up, and get ready to make waves for a brighter future.
